I attended Craftfest & Thrillerfest XIX in June 2024 and had a thrill meeting with thriller and mystery writer superstars (photo from right to left, Ruth Ware, Karin Slaughter, Louise Penny, Tess Gerritsen, Allison Brennan, and so many others). I learned from and enjoyed every presentation and panel, wanting to attend them all. The Debut-Author Breakfast inspired me to be up on that stage myself one day. But the topper was this: after finding out I, myself, was a finalist for the Daphne Award, the 2016 Daphne winner, Allison Brennan, congratulated me and wished me luck with her autograph. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
